This was a surprise "second 21st" birthday treat (following a disastrous first 21st during lockdown) the group all said they loved their stay. Every aspect was delightful. They took photos of the room, the breakfast and all the little extras provided. The decor and attention to detail and attention from the staff made this a special memory. The guests posted on social media with captions such as "lovely boujie guest house" - when old Mum asked for the translation this apparently means "gorgeous, luxurious, swanky" (keep up Mum!)

it was exceptionally clean and a real home from home. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. It felt safe and being able to park the car behind electronically locked gates was a real bonus. The utility room was perfect for storing suitcases so not cluttering up the bedroom. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. We will certainly be staying again. It is only 10 minutes away from our elderly relatives in Littleover which was really convenient.

Perfect short break for a couple of friends. Lovely location, nice places to eat nearby recommended by the host, only a short drive to Ashbourne and close to the Dovedale walks. Perfect location, comfortable, clean and everything you need for a getaway break. The generous welcome basket was full of delights with milk in the fridge. The cosy log fire was a bonus in the evening. Ample parking next to the accommodation. Great host with plenty of wildlife, especially the Hare.
