Absolutely immaculate! I’m admittedly very fussy about cleanliness and this place was so so clean. Smelt great, beds were super comfy. Lodge was sound proof. The place is so quiet. The animals on site adorable. The owners leave you to it but if you need them they’re available. The hot tub is well maintained. Towels super soft and very clean, smelled great. All facilities we needed. Would go back in a heart beat.

A well appointed, clean and modern hotel. Exactly as I would expect a hotel to be. Although an old building that I remember from my childhood it has obviously been completely renovated and the rooms are modern and clean. The food is excellent and the breakfasts superb.

If it was a hotel it would be 4 going on to 5 stars. The self catering was of the highest quality. Private car park. Besides apartment keys we had keys for both outside doors front and back to the private car park. Front door intercom to the apartment. Sound proofing from the main road traffic was excellent.

We did not get a breakfast as the chef was late and we were waiting over half an hour. There was 1 member of staff who was running round like a headless chicken making sure we had tea and toast whilst the chef appeared. He was so rude to the member of staff (shouting) a few of the guests decided not to wait for their breakfast and we did the same.
