M Lodge & Spa, hotel in Méribel

Located in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, 47 km from Halle Olympique d'Albertville, M Lodge & Spa provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you. The room was absolutely beautiful with great facilities, love the coffee machine in room and the little piece of nougat on our pillow each evening. Everything was extremely clean and the toiletries in the bathroom smell divine! The ski room is large and well designed with those extra touches like access to slippers once you've removed your ski boots. Breakfast had a huge selection, along with cooked eggs of your choice all included. Cakes and treats available after a full day skiing was very much appreciated.

Hotel Pashmina Le Refuge, hotel in Méribel

Hotel Pashmina Le Refuge is a luxury hotel located in Val Thorens Ski Resort, offering ski-to-door access to Les Trois Vallées Ski Station.

The Pashmina is absolutely excellent. It is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. We had a deluxe XXL room with 2 bedrooms and a central lounge, which worked wonderfully for our family. We also had our own harman, which was a hit after a day's skiing.

The chalet was extremely well appointed and the quality of fittings and content amazing. Great location with amazing views. The chalet was luxurious and although in a high price bracket the accommodation was impressive.

The room had a fabulous view of the alps and we had a terrace so could walk out and listen to the buzz below where there were fire pits at night and an open spa/jacuzzi which you needed to book from 6pm for 1/2 hour time slots, during the day you joined others. A superb ski shop attached to the hotel with knowledgeable staff. All the days had theme nights - loved the sushi night. They have a good wine list (not inc) - definitely worth going half board as the food was really good. The bar staff were lots of fun!

The breakfast was very poor with the only option of a cooked breast being eggs by a chef. It would be much better if self service with sausages and bacon eggs and beans etc. as done in other hotels constantly topped up by staff. Had to repeatedly ask for coffee we weren't asked what we wanted. The breakfast spoilt the whole exceptional experience of staying in this hotel.

This is billed as a 4* resort, but it's really a pretty ordinary ski chalet apartment block. The apartments don't even come with toilet paper, you have to clean up and strip the beds yourself. It's functional and well-located, Meribel Mottaret is a nice resort, but it's definitely not luxury and shouldn't be billed as such. It was nice they accept pets though!

The staff were amazing. The reception team were always on hand, always willing to help and always with a big smile. Made our trip just amazing! The bar staff were great and the cocktails were amazing, the service they provide is truly 5 stars. The amenities are great, perfect to spa and swim after a day on the slopes. The restaurants are incredible, I mean, Incredible. We did 29 trips in the last 12 months, and nothing came close to the service and food we had.
