Essentially a pub with a seperate "exclusive" wing called "Astor Suites". Could have been a four or five start hotel - well laid out, very modern, clean, espresso coffee machine standard, great services and the pub had great meals.
Everything. Exceptional service and walking distance to town. Outstanding staff and free coffee in the foyer. The room size exceeded my expectations and even had a balcony. Despite being close to the car park, it was very quiet. The Abbey is second to none and well recommended.
A spacious, really comfortable, well furnished modern apartment - a good coffee machine and toaster were appreciated.
4-5 stars.
A perfectly cooked steak and a good red at the pub next door topped off my day.
Everything! Gorgeous motel, feels very luxurious and brand new. Spacious room, comfy bed, and bar filled with variety of snacks and drinks. Close to shops and there's beautiful restaurant opposite the motel that sells lovely goodies and yummy coffee & food. Didn't expect this kind of luxury in Goulburn. Definitely a great stay for transit between Melbourne-Sydney.
The Abbey Motel is setting the benchmark for accommodation in Goulburn. Absolute luxury. Generous room size, comfortable king bed with balcony and city views. Luxurious bathroom with walk in shower, great water pressure and modern fittings and fixtures. Cannot fault the place, and we'll be staying here exclusively in future after years with another major apartment chain. Free parking at the doorstep. Friendly, helpful and motivated staff, always pleasant to chat with. Love this place.
The staff on checkin were lovely and the room was great - spacious, comfortable beds and even though on the main road, super quiet. We were really happy and looking forward to resting up before we continued our road trip to Melbourne the next day. If it hadn't been for what happened in the middle of the night, I would have given it 5 stars.
Cleanliness was superb, which is even more appreciated during a pandemic.
Beds were comfortable and there were extra pillows if needed.
Ceiling fans were enough we did not need to use air conditioning.
I would recommend the Deluxe Homestead for long stays as it has everything you need and all the comforts of home .
Have stayed here several times, during my travels for business purposes.
Reception employees always friendly and obliging. The restaurant chef is amazing; room service menu is great (yet to dine in restaurant itself) and food is 5-star. Rooms are very clean and presentable, comfortable and location is ideal.
