Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. We liked literally everything about Sanbona. Gorgeous place with spacious guest apartments. The service is out of this world. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rangers were knowledgeable and fun. Food was delicious and they even accommodate gluten and lactose intolerance and allergies.

She and her husband run the place with a lot of love for hospitality. This is typically why we prefer a bed & breakfast/lodge type of place over a hotel. Apart from the warm welcome, Elna gave us some amazing information on the area and some sightseeing we could do. This made all the difference for our stay.

Me encantó la estancia en Sanbona. El lodge precioso, la cama super cómoda. La comida muy rica y variada. Servicio excelente, personal muy amable y los rangers son unos apasionados que te cuentan cosas interesantes de los animales.
