Wonderful setting, beautiful views, fantastic staff, sublime restaurant and food! The bush drives, night drive, elephant experience and view over the hippo lake were just wonderful! Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. We enjoyed everything about our stay at Riverside. Albert and Elza were amazing hosts that have an exceptional attention for detail, we have rarely seen such high level of hospitality! The room was extremely clean, we received small snacks at our arrival we really appreciated, the honesty bar was the cherry on top, together with the big terrace and the stunning view to relax and have a beer. We also received great recommendations for restaurants.

Each unit consists of a bedroom, bathroom and living area and features a patio with views of the vineyards and Swartberg Mountains. This accommodation is outstanding - beautifully designed, incredible eye for details, the food is delicious, and the staff (esp Irina, Tiffany and Lee) is so very kind!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We discover this Lodge in a very quite and green area withgreat views. And then we met the owner - Len - who has a amazing sense of hospitality and upgrade our stay to another level of happiness. We felt directly welcome and this feeling stays there during all our stay. The lodge was also offering and amazing dinner that we enjoyed the 2 nights with high quality food and wines. On top of that, we were surronded by lovely and friendly dogs that my children enjoyed to play with. Definitly a higly recommended place to stay.

Rooiberg Lodge is 156 km from George Airport. Restaurant, staff and grounds were all immaculate. The area is remote and quiet. The accommodations here make the trip worthwhile! The service by all the staff was incredible.

They went out of their way to cater to our dietary requirements- all the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious! The game drive was lovely and thanks to the keen eye of our guide we saw many beautiful animals. The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot - perfect after a day of exploring. The lodge is close to the Cango Caves and the Swartberg Pass so ideally situated for sightseeing in the area.

The manager Bruce is fantastic, hè gave us A lot of information about the flora and fauna and is A very kind person. the breakfast, lunch and dinners are delicious. All the personell is very very friendly. We loved our stay .
