Situated 24 km from Kresge Auditorium, 45 km from Mt. Zion Ski Area and 44 km from Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City, Riverside Abode features accommodation set in Thompsonville. It has river views and free WiFi throughout the property. This was a great place! Very clean, loved the location by the river, and had plenty of space for a family of five if needed.
Menominee
The Econo Lodge on the Bay is close to several area attractions including John Henes Park, Nestegg Marina, Stephenson Island, Theater on the Bay and the Waterfront Festival. The Menominee Twin County Airport is two miles from the hotel. Great location. Upgraded to a bayview room at no charge. Very much appreciated. Love the location. Room was great.

Our hotel is less than eight miles from Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College. The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport is two miles away. The Binder Park Zoo is 20 miles from the hotel.
It's an older hotel but it's clean, comfortable, and the price is right. I've stayed there twice now and each time it was quiet and I slept well.

Growing up five blocks away Allen Park Motor Lodge is for me a home away from home. I watched them built it and swam in the pool many times as a kid. This facility is a great price when needing to stay in the downriver area. Cool staff, comfortable bed and great shower. I have stayed here many times and plan on staying here again. The staff supply great recommendations for what to see, where to eat and what to enjoy. He is great.
Love the lodge look in all the rooms. They also have a massager in chair that feels great!
Such a cool motel! I really liked that everything was connected inside. It had a lodge feel with a really nice heated pool, hot tub and sauna. It was nice that they were pet-friendly and had breakfast too. Easy parking.
The owners were a very kind couple —just like Mom and Pop! The room was very clean and comfy. Great location right across the street from Thunder Bay! I loved my stay at Big Bear Lodge!
We were able to check in at three the lodge feel was nice. So was the coffee. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast Saturday morning was adequate. The location was very good, with easy access and reasonably close to the CBD. The front desk staff were friendly, informative and accommodating. The beach and patio area were excellent and well maintained, but we were told it is in danger of changing in the next year due to new developments on both sides of the lodge.
Can walk to shops. Bar and restaurant at the lodge Adult pool and hot tub.
We did not use the amenities in the main lodge… we stayed in our cottage and cooked our meals or went out…
This is a old style "Motor Lodge" that I believe is now under new ownership and management. The location is good, the rooms are refreshed and the bed was comfortable. At this time of year it is hard to appreciate the outdoor space and pool , but it is evident the owners have been keeping things neat and tidy. I would absolutely recommend this place as a good value for its price range.
