Amazing panoramic view across the vineyard. A lovely place to relax and do wine tasting. A remote area so not much in the vicinity apart from the beautiful countryside.
The decor was really cosy, it felt like a little mountain lodge. A really nice shared space to relax in after a long hike, with rocking chairs and warm blankets. Great breakfast place downstairs
The location was amazing. So peaceful and beautiful. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Meals were delicious and great value for money. The hosts were extremely hospitable and made us feel most welcome. The rest of the staff were very warm and the service in all areas was excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending Vistas - Herdade do Zambujal and we are already planning to return.
Super nice staff (Pedro, thanks!), absolutely banging home-made breakfast, everything very clean, it smelt very nicely of wood in our wooden house. Different pillows were at disposal which was amazing
Quiet lodge in the middle of the woods but close to everything (<20min). Not a hotel (which is clearly stated on their website) so don't expect amenities or services, just a clean small 1bedroom apartment with a balcony. And the road, despite being dirt, is very doable and quick, not an issue to me. Lastly, mosquitos did not bother me at all, they only come at night, and it's common in the region. I had dinner at Quinta da Comporta, a fancy hotel, and was eaten by bugs when the sun came down.
Very nice and quite place in the middle of the forest. Rodolfo and family are very nice hosts, always ready to help you. Very well equipped lodge, nothing missing. Good for families, farm animals and good pool where kids will enjoy themselves. Close to nice beaches. I do recommend it.
The property and lodging were very beautiful and very special. Immaculately clean with everything you need. The people were so friendly and helpful, even leaving a freshly baked loaf of bread at our doir each morning. We would stronly recommend this listing to anyone who wants a superior & authentic Portuguse experience.
Good wooden house, the area around the lodges, equipment in the house
Great location for peace and quiet, surrounded by pine trees. Off season prices were not too expensive. Bed was comfortable. Lodges were well equipped, comfortable and clean.
