I liked everything, so I'll just write what I liked best (in a random order):
- the room (well furnished and well decorated, spacious, clean attached bathroom with very hot shower, is a little house separated from the other rooms so it's quite intimate and isolated from other guests' noise),
- the food (they have real - homemade- bread !), the fact that you can order breakfast/lunch/snacks from 8 am onwards, the attention to providing good quality products,
- the atmosphere (guests and staff eat dinner all together, so it's really easy to feel like you're hanging out with your friends while staying there) (also it's not too big a place - max 6 guests - and there are many nice spots to chill)(in the evening, there's also a fire to chill around all together),
- the staff <3
- the walking safaris (I did also a jeep safari but I liked better the walking ones)
- the general spirit in which the place is run

Very nice, quiet and relaxing. Owners care about making a good experience. Their quiet jeep was better for doing a jeep safari than some of the diesel ones

We had a fabulous stay at Bardia Eco-Lodge. The rooms and gardens are lovely. This is a true rustic eco-lodge blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lodge is walking distance to both the Elephant Breeding Centre and the main entrance of Bardia National Park. Our host Madhu, is a certified safari guide and we enjoyed an exceptional day on private jeep safari with him and a driver seeing a tiger, rhinos, many deer and monkeys.
If you would like to stay in a true Nepali homestay, Nanu and Kali’s place is amazing. They offer a very pure, yet comfortable experience. They have two rooms for rent, and live on the property themselves. Nanu will be able to guide you on hiking safari’s as well for a good price. Apart from that the food is amazing. :) Would 100% recommend anybody looking for a Nepali experience to go here!
Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.
Baba, Prakesh and Dave are great and the safaris were fabulous. Saw three tigers!
One of the best experiences with wild planet. I plan to to stay few day at end I forget to leave this place. I had lots of safari with baba and prakash they are really professional in there job. Place made with eco friendly made with local style cottage. . Best food I had . One thing I like must if they never sell water bottles they have filter water . They try lots to reducing plastic thing. Sure I will come again.
Me and my friend spend 4 amazing days at the Bardia Eco friendly Homestay. We also did a one day jeep safari and slept one night in a tree house near the dschungel. These where also two wonderful experiences, which I would definitely recommend. The Homestay was very beautiful and we felt very comfortable. The people been very courteous, friendly and welcoming what made us feel like at home. I will definitely come back in the future
The stay was comfortable rooms were amazing. My family and friends (15 people) travelling loved it. The food was spot on the safari was amazing the staff was very very attentive and helpful
Staff were amazing Property simple but met all my needs. Superb location close to entrance to Bardia National Park. Staff at the lodge were very helpful, lodge comfortable and food good. The activities (the reason you go to a venue like this) were outstanding. Our guide saw to our every need, and we were able to see a magnificent range of birds and animals. They appreciated what we wanted to see and tried extra hard to allow us these opportunities.
Lovely family run very comfortable relaxing place very close to safari … but safe .. able to fully cater for our safari needs
Beautiful Lodge with great friendly staff. Mr B's sons are also nature guides that do wonderful Safaris in the park. The food is delicious as well. Highly recommended place!
My stay at Jungle Base Camp was exceptional. Hukum is an amazing host. He will do his best to make your stay great (including refilling the fridge with beers as many times as needed...). You will get to share his daily life with his family. I had great conversation with him, and learnt a lot about the reality of Nepal while I was there. The lodges are simple but with all what is needed. The food is all organic and homemade, made with what grow in the garden. I recommend this place 100%.
