Mulu
Nestled within the lush greenery of Mulu National Park in Sarawak, Benarat Lodge offers cosy accommodation steps away from the Melinau Paku river, and 1 km from Tenguloh Cafe. Guests arriving by car can enjoy free private parking on-site. The property is about 1.5 km from Gunung Mulu. Rooms are large with aircons and private bathrooms. It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).
Clean, easy check in, location right in front of waterfront where you dock for the river cruise ship. There is H-Mart next door - a 24 hour convenient store. Welcoming staff. A simple decent lodge to sleep. They close the door at 12 midnight for safety, but tenants are given an access card. Aircon works fine.
Really good food!!! :D The owner and staff are amazing! They were very lovely and even made us homemade donuts on the house!! The lodge is very spacious and comfy! We also rented a motorbike which was in very good condition. Absolutely recommend the place! 11/10 :D !!!
Breakfast is provided. It's at a great location, a lot of eataries on the same street. The ramen shop right next door is a hidden gem (for lunch)! The kueh chap stall opens in the evening on the same street is good too. Wayne is friendly and helpful during our stay at Check In Lodge.

I didn't even manage to stay a night in the inn cos the inn was fully booked. Im very annoying at that time. I stayed in the airport for a night as Im not being able to go to other lodge in for the night due to it's late in the evening.
I like it very much cause its very close to the waterfront. I like the environment and feeling nostalgic about the lodge design..very simple but worth it..the staff are friendly.
Manager's friendliness and fast response. Lodge's emphasis on energy saving as well as the free self service breakfast.
A very good place for short retreat, tucked away in a quiet corner among nature. Attractive traditional Malay kampung style lodgings. Staff are very friendly & helpful.
