Watamu
Ecolodge Jua Bahari is located in the small town of Timboni, just 2 km away from Watamu Beach. Surrounded by palm trees, the lodge has an outdoor pool and restaurant.
The rooms are decorated in African style. Each comes with a ceiling fan, minibar and a small veranda. The beds and windows are draped with mosquito nets. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower.
I spent a few days at the villa and I loved this place - beautiful surroundings, and warm, nice people. To go kiting you need to go to the beach with a tuktuk (10-15 min drive). But it's super quiet and nice!
Kilifi
Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool.
The lodge offers different accommodation types, ranging from family and double rooms to beds in a dormitory or safari tents. The spacious rooms feature custom made furniture and shelving. The waterproof tents feature a bed-side table and solar lights.
Perfect place for backpackers. You meet great people, plenty of things to do in and around the hostel. Beautiful common areas, great food and drinks at the bar, if you don't feel like cooking. I liked the eco concept they had going on, the toilets might take a day or two to get used to, but that's part of it :)) it was seriously the best place we have been to in Kenya as backpackers!
Kilifi
The Baobab Sea Lodge is located along the coast of the Indian Ocean and offers elegantly decorated rooms. It features a pool surrounded by a 26.000 square metres tropical garden and a restaurant.
Each unit at the Baobab Sea Lodge has a private bathroom and features a balcony with views of the garden. All of them have a seating area and include a minibar and a safe.
Staff is great, view is beautiful, facilities are good, pool is nice.
Kikambala
With Jumba la Mtwana reachable in 5.1 km, Boko Boko Guesthouse and Hotel provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge.
Guests at the lodge can enjoy table tennis on site, or hiking in the surroundings.

If you're looking for the all-inclusive resort style experience, there's not much to fault here. The staff are amazing, food is great, the rooms are huge and very comfortable, and there are plenty of activities available through the lodge. That said, it's also worth heading out onto the beach and taking advantage of the many activities also available outside of the lodge, and several great restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
The staff accommodated a room change for my parents as their mobility was poor. All severin staff from front of house to behind the scenes were friendly, professional, and sociable Group activities were good, too. I'd thoroughly recommend Severin Sea Lodge.
The staff was extremely helpful and kind, the lodge was just wonderful, great breakfast, big and clean rooms.

The place was quite 👌 amazing, clean environment, food from breakfast to dinner was really nice with different kind of variety and live band entertainment was extraordinary, the reception staff were great to welcome us but some of the waiters were kind of rude and the manager was one of a kind always greeting us and making sure we r OK what an extraordinary guy forget his name sorry but we call eachother "old school "but overall we enjoyed our stay completely, can't wait to be back at severin Sea Lodge 😀.
New lodging building
The Hotel is really nice hope to go there again soon, very friendly place with lots of activities and a excursions desk for safari etc. Also see the history of the hotel. very clean Hotel, Highly recommend, i stayed in the deluxe room very spacious and comfortable a very relaxing hotel the lodges are really nice the cute monkeys and a great gym and spa. Staff, Breakfast, tv and channels and bed. options to have seafood on the dhow. right on the beach also so no need to travel far.
