Tsavo West National Park

Severin Safari Camp is located is 58 km from Mtito Andei Railway Station. We stayed in the Bandas cooking our own food for our family of 5. Clean and very good location out in Tsavo. The kids loved the pool.

Everything was incredible. The lodge represents the perfect combination of nature and comfort and is no doubt an amazing place to relax, which was my main goal. I loved the trees, the stone pathways woven between them and protected by shadow, the monkeys and other animals that walked by. I loved how spacious the tukul was and how the decoration fit into the surroundings so perfectly. It's great to rest in between game drives or even for longer periods, as was my case. I enjoyed some time in the pool, walking the grounds and stargazing by the firepit at night. The staff was incredibly welcoming but still respectful of my space and privacy. They always asked how the day went, always were available to help in any way and even made me a cake to say goodbye on my last night. To be honest, even after seeing the lodges inside the Amboseli park (which no doubt can be more convenient for game drives), I felt that Amboseli Sopa Lodge fit me much better. I could not recommend it enough and I hope I get to return at some point with family or friends.
Amboseli
With mountain views, Tawi Lodge is set in Amboseli and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The accommodation has a hot tub.
A children's playground is available for guests to use at the lodge.
Where to start from? This Hotel is magnificent! Since the pick up from the airstrip to the very little detail inside the room, it has been a perfect experience.
Location is beautiful, in the middle of the nature respecting its environment and yet making the most comfortable rooms and social living rooms. Birds, squirrels and little monkeys come to your window and you can see the Kilimanjaro mount through your door!
The pool is gorgeous, the food is great and the game drives are amazing!
Staff is so committed on making unforgettable memories. I wanted to see hippos, so they searched all over until we saw one. Plus, rangers know a lot about the park so they give great explanations and knows the perfect spots to find the animals.
Also about the staff: they are super polite, super friendly, always asking whether you need something.
Manager is super nice! he helped us printing some papers we needed.
the SPA service is amazing! Totally worth the money.
I recomend this Hotel to everyone and I will definetly come back with my family.
Amboseli
Situated in the heart of the Maasai Land, 20 kilomètres from Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco Camp features a restaurant.
The daily breakfast offers continental and buffet options.
The camp is part of a humanitarian mission started by the organisation InterActions & Solidarity to reduce poverty in the local community. The camp is now directly owned and managed by the community for the community.
Everything about the eco camp is impressive.
Mailua
Featuring mountain views, Mailua Retreat in Mailua features accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge and a restaurant.
A children's playground is available on site and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge.
Amboseli
With Amboseli National Park reachable in 2.6 km, Sentrim Amboseli Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Excellent stay at Sentrim, couldn't fault it on value for money, service and location
Mailua
Situated in Mailua in the Kajiado region, Ene Hacienda features accommodation with free private parking.
There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with slippers.
Guests at the lodge can enjoy a buffet or an à la carte breakfast.
Excellent location next to Kimana gate to Amboseli. Really good and knowledgeable safari guide. Room is spacious, beds are comfortable, great view to Kilimanjaro. Food is tasty and big variety to choose from. Lots of helpful and nice people working in the lodge.
We stayed in the less luxurious but cheaper Bandas and that was excellent choice. We had Giraffes walking 3 m from our terrace. The kitchen had all needed for self catering, including a fridge. The dinner at the lodge (not included) was exceptional. The pool (included) was a heaven after a long Safari day.
My family and I had a great time at Maasai Simba Camp. The safari to Amboseli National Park offered by the team was a spectacular experience that we only can recommend! The food served was delicious and there were plenty of vegetarian options upon request.
AA Lodge has an incredible location! Just a few kilometres from kimana gate, and with stunning views of Kilimanjaro from across the property! The cottage we stayed at was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. They had a lot of choice in food for each meal and it was very tasty! We saw some beautiful birds and small animals within the property during our stay.
Nice lodge serving excellent (but expensive) food.
Patrick was a great host and very welcoming. The lodge is located in the bush which allows wild animals to be seen directly from the tent. The tent was a great accommodation!
The meals with the other guests, the kindness of our hosts, the little baboons in front of our room, the amboseli park being very close and how they arranged for us a safari. We also loved the homemade food (salat with tomatoes and avocado)
Amazing view of Kilimanjaro and proximity for day trips into Amboseli without the massive surcharge of lodges inside the park! Cool location that was quite relaxing.
Location is amazing. The game drives were among the best of the six safaris we have done in Africa. The lodge is beautiful (dining area, swimming pool). The food (set menu with some options) is OK but not spectacular. Very good driver/guide (Mohammed), staff at reception is helpful.
