We loved our stay here! Such a cozy little nest in the middle of nature. Wake up to the sounds of birds and the view of the lake after a nice and quiet night. It was so nice to have a living room and a kitchen for ourselves as well. In the evening we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the lake. Would come back anytime!

Courteous and always willing to help. Amazing host. Goes above and beyond. Arranged jeep safari. Suggested places to visit and places to eat and shop. Excellent place to stay if you are looking for budget friendly and excellent quality.
Property located in a serene location .we have enjoyed the misty morning from Balcony. Room is very clean and well maintained. The manager Mr. Amal and his team attended to all our requests and taken all care which made our stay a pleasant one.He has arranged for a nice jeep safari .Our Granddaughter spent a happy time at the kids play area. The buffet dinner is good . However little more varieties may be added to make it great.
Shukkoor and his family are lovely - they were so kind to us and went above and beyond when my partner was ill. They also arranged transport from Cochi, and helped me get to my safari meeting point. The location is stunning (beautiful sunsets over the mountains), it’s very quiet at night, and the rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. We are sad to leave and we highly recommend staying here. Thanks again to a very nice, kind and generous family for having us to stay.

We were received in the warmest possible manner. Our host was extremely helpful in organising safari trips around Thekkady. The upstairs terrace offers an absolutely stunning view over the surroundings. I highly recommend anyone to book! (Travelling with a family of four)
The host Joseph is a lovely individual. He will make sure we enjoy THEKKADY at the fullest. He told us to book Elephant safari from elephant camp at a cheaper rate. Also, he would keep our request of the food items we wanted for breakfast.
The owner and his son were very friendly They have a restaurant in the lodge so no problem of fooding. Just behind the homestay is the most amazing view of th3 sunset ever
Clean and comfortable with hot water. Helpful owner (who bought safari tickets for us) and wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Great value.
