The beach is maybe a 10 minute walk away, which was just lovely. The lodges are equipped well with comfortable beds and appliances. The staff are wonderfully helpful and respond quickly. Can’t complain at all! Even the parking, usually charged at 10 a day, can be found for free by parking by the gym / pump house. Very handy!

This place is always very friendly, very clean and very consistent. You always know it’s going to be a great stay. The food in the pub is exceptional the owners and Mike the manager cannot do enough for you. You can keep for travel lodges and premier inns this place is so much better
Sarah was very helpful via email prior to my stay. The lodges are very well equipped with everything, even personal touches that I have never experienced anywhere else. The bed, pillows and duvet were so comfy and clean. The breakfast provided was above and beyond expectation. Sarah Is a lovely, helpful, friendly lady and I would highly reccomend staying here.
Located about a 10 minute walk from the Barry Train Station, which is very accessible to nearby CARDIFF. I liked the dine and drink options in Barry. Several options within the Goodstay compound. And downtown Barry is loaded with pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance. My main reason for staying here was to watch the Rugby Six Nations at Principality Stadium...but the lodging costs in Cardiff were excessive. Goodstay Lodges worked out really, really well, for the most part.
Stayed in one of the dog friendly lodges , quite spacious and located just behind the hotel .Hotel was well located to visit any of the Gower beaches and also walking distance from a couple of pubs.Food was good in the hotel and the dog even got her own sausage at breakfast . The staff was all very helpful and friendly .

Very friendly reception and staff. Quiet location. Pet friendly. I brought my dog and we stayed in one of the lodges.. All happy.
Very good price so didn’t expect much but we were shocked at how modern, comfortable and clean the rooms were. Better than some hotels like premiere inn and travel lodges we’ve previously stayed at.
Absolutely amazing property, well equipped, everything that you need available. Wonderfully friendly owners. The hot tub is wood fired and so cosy. The lodges are in a beautiful location and within walking distance to amenities. Incredibly happy with our stay and would 100% recommend and we will be visiting again without a doubt. The photos on the website don’t do it justice.
