Threshfield

Stayed there for three nights, working remotely until afternoon and then going hiking. There are a lot of nice hikes nearby - including a trail that starts just on the other side of the river. Car is necessary for access and for trails further away, but it's easy to find and has plenty of space to park. There are multiple dining options and a small grocery store just a short walk away.
The place itself is lovely - beautiful peaceful location with amazing view, well kept facilities and delicious breakfast with enough options to try something new each morning. You can also meet local wildlife - birds, squirrels and local cats were frequent visitors on the balcony, deer and sheep wandering about in the distance.
We also took a dip in the Wharfe, which I highly recommend to everyone who can handle the chilly water!
Horton in Ribblesdale
Set in Horton in Ribblesdale, 47 km from Lancaster, Ribblesdale Pods offers a garden and free WiFi.
Each unit is fitted with a patio, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, a seating area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A fridge, a stovetop and toaster are also featured, as well as a kettle.
The pods were fantastic! Clean, comfortable and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything we may need and were extremely friendly and accommodating. We wished we could have stayed longer than 2 night. The hot tub was a real bonus and the perfect place to relax after a day of walking.
Hutton le Hole
The lodge provides guests with a terrace, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A toaster and kettle are also available. Everything ! It was beautifully styled, lovely ‘& clean with terrific facilities. Plenty of room for two also.
Leyburn
With barbecue facilities and a garden, The Jonas Centre features accommodation with free WiFi.

The property and its grounds were absolutely stunning so much beautiful scenery and the opportunity to have a proper camp fire and barbecue right outside your own lodge is amazing. Couldn’t fault anything at all.
Pickering
Set in 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, in a beautiful, peaceful location in North Yorkshire, this 18th century farmhouse offers attractive self catering accommodation.
Sorry we do not accept pets in our 3 person lodge or in the cottages. We do accept pets in all the other lodges.
The photos didn’t do the justice it deserved, one of the best places we ever stayed at. The place is well looked after and a very cozy place. The communication with owners before the stay and during the stay was exceptional. 100% recommend!!!
Scarborough
Located in Scarborough, just 600 metres from Cayton Bay Beach, Lula Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and free WiFi. Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and table tennis. it was lush ! so comfortable , clean and well thought out - having towels and linen defiantly helps when you are self catering. 2 bathrooms was a bonus also ! a bath and a shower!!! my mum loved it she was soooo happy!
Scarborough
Set in Scarborough, just less than 1 km from Cayton Bay Beach, Sea Breeze offers accommodation with a terrace, a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. Boasting a patio, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as cycling and mini-golf. Very clean and pleasant caravan, easy check in and great communication from the owner. Close to the bar/facilities and only a short drive to scarborough/filey.
Knaresborough
Situated in Knaresborough in the North Yorkshire region and Harrogate International Centre reachable within 14 km, Hollins Farm - Dog Friendly, Self Catering Holiday Lodges features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Everything was perfect, the location, the lodge were great. Rachael the owner went above and beyond for our visit. It was such a lovely quiet location. The lodges have absolutely everything one could need and are fitted to a high standard.

A terrace is available on site and both fishing and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge.

Trinity House is positioned at the end of a row of other lodges so is ideal location , not cramped .
Quiet ..more like a housing estate with , a mixture of houses , lodges and apartments all set in nice surroundings .
There were enough beds for all 6 as we have had to use the sofa bed with previous holidays in different lodges. We have stayed at this site before and find it nice and quiet and well maintained.
Wren lodge exceeded our expectations in terms of the quality of the lodge. The property was very spacious for 4 adults and the interior quality was excellent. The location was also excellent for us. It’s a short walk into Gargrave for shops, pubs and restaurants, yet being on the very edge of the village made it very peaceful. This was also aided by the very limited number of lodges on the site and the careful orientation of these made them very private. Will be returning.
The location was perfect. The parking was excellent. Many lodges claim parking but too few slots. This one seemed to have a good sized car park
We were staying at The Old Lodgings down the road. It is only a short walk from the Old Lodge. The grounds are stunning. Not far from the town centre. Room 27 very spacious and really clean. Evening meal at The Old Lodge was great. Really hot food and Sunday Roast is huge. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

It was nice and quiet; everyone appeared respectful to other residents. Food onside was really good. Heating worked well (stayed in other lodges/cottages/caravans which have been freezing) Kitchen had everything you needed to cook (we decided to eat out every night as it was a holiday for mum too) Very close to flamingoland. In-between York, Scarborough and Whitby. Dog fields down the road and a track road to walk the dogs. Park for the kids. Hot tub was nice and a new one compared to the photos you see online.
