We were greeted by Stephen and Sharon, who made us very welcome. When we entered the Studio, we walked into the kitchen area, it was fitted out with all mod cons. We were then shown the shower room and when Sharon took us into the living/bedroom, a 4 poster bed greeted us. There was plenty of storage space, for clothes etc, TV with wi-fi. A wood burner fire, if needed. Sharon said if we needed to know anything, there was information sheets where everything was explained. Outside the patio doors our very own patio with table and chairs. A car park space was provided for our use, Sharon explained everything to us and said if we needed anything give her a shout. There was bacon, eggs and milk left in the fridge for us.

The cottage is tucked away in beautiful, interesting woodland with the sound of the stream below. Gorgeous location. The accommodation is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need. /the area is lovely too. Highly recommended!

Fantastic, cosy accommodation in a stunning setting.
Surrounded by beautiful farmland, with sheep and cows grazing, this is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle.
We particularly enjoyed sitting out under the stars by the fire pit, with the sheep wandering over to have a nose at us!
The owners provided a barbecue on the deck, table and chairs etc. They had pretty much thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable.
Very well organised.

Upside down house, one side of the house was french windows & balcony with great views of the countryside. Very clean. All the lodges look different, ours was Tamar 32 & it was great.
Great location, comfortable bed, nice big shower, easy breakfast. Quite couldn't hear any other rooms like you can in travel lodges
We booked 2 lodges number 9 was beautiful, well kept and roomy
Lovely castle/ stately home to stay in. An absolute joy to have found. Quirkier and much more interesting than any chain hotel. And who doesn't want to tell their friends they've stayed in a castle. Nice comfy room. Plenty of space outdoors, do seek out the trampoline if you are staying with kids. Not all rooms are in the actual castle but the lodges and cottages, that we stayed in, are just as interesting.
We stayed in one of the lodges which was estuary facing and peaceful. It was lovely to watch some of the abundant wildlife on an evening. Staff were pleasant when we popped over to the main hotel to use the pool and the overall location and character of the property is good.
Everything, it was fantastic. We gave stayed in a lot of travel lodges, this is by far the best.
stunning location with the lakes and lodges and very peaceful
Gorgeous location with fantastic views, lovely clean rooms and attentive, helpful staff. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent, especially the chicken risotto which I would highly recommend. Have already booked to return to one of the beautiful lodges.
Lovely peaceful country location yet convenient for site seeing and coastal towns. Sympathetically restored main house with new lodges and rooms with hot tubs in the gardens. , many overlooking small lakes with fountains. Restaurant in separate barn, beautifully presented, with excellent food, comfortable bar and upstairs seating. Bedroom with seating area, clean and comfortable. Large comfortable bed. Very quiet location, overlooking the gardens.
