Idyllic, peaceful, lovely and clean, so cosy and the girls enjoyed the play area! Great value for money! Welcome hamper was such a lovely touch, the Prosecco was very much appreciated. Tracey and Dave, the owners, were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We loved the owners 2 dogs too! A gorgeous break - thank you!

Green View Lodges are family-run accommodation located in the village of Welton, 14.6 km from Carlisle. The pet-friendly accommodation features a leisure suite sauna and a hot tub. Keswick is 22 km away. The Location and the surroundings were excellent. Self service which suited us fine as meant that we were not restricted. A very Pleasant Couple who ensured that we were all settled in, even our 14 Month Golden Retriever "George". A great base for the Lake District close to the main road. A Very Relaxed stay for all of us.

Beautiful lodges with just about everything we needed for our stay. Very good food in the pub next door albeit service was a tad slow but otherwise, a wonderful stay for our family who'd travelled to join in a ceremony & celebration of my Mum's life and scattering of her ashes on Derwentwater.

Great family get away! Had everything we needed and great location, horses in our door step which my 2yr loved and chickens roaming around😊, they daughter of the man who owned the lodges kindly got a horse out for our son! Will defo be back❤️

breakfast was really good, the lodges are very spacious and the bed was comfy. I really liked the bath with the TV. The lodge was also nice and warm when we got there, we could change the temperature with the ipad.

The log cabin was spacious and warm. We felt like we were in a lovely Alpine ski lodge! Comfy sofas, great little wood burner and super coffee machine.
