We would very much like to come back to this amazing and ‘hitten gem’!

The view from the pool area was lovely over the countryside with lovely sunsets. The room is part of the family house but with its own entrance. It’s a spacious room, comfy bed and large double shower. We really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They cooked dinner for us one evening and everything was fresh and homemade from their produce or local. Valerie also catered for my no meat/dairy dietary requirements easily for dinner and breakfast. we really enjoyed the evening meal with the sunset. Valerie also took us to feed her chickens and stroke the friendly ones! We had the eggs for breakfast.
Saint-Privat-des-Prés

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. What a lovely comfortable house with three comfortable air conditioned bedrooms and three good shower rooms all with own WC. The house is in a loveley garden with wonderful pool (with natural tree shade and umbrellas fir those of is who prefer shade) and all set in the beautiful countryside. We also liked the BBQ and outside table and chairs where we ate all of our meals. Convenient and friendly village shop in local village at about 1.3 km for croissants, pain aux raisins, baguettes, wine, beer, eggs etc..etc. very handy indeed. Canoe/Kayak rentals at about 6 kms on the beautiful river Dronne and very nice market town with nice restaurants at about 5 kms too. Last, but not least, we appreciated the friendly and helpful proprietors (Rachel & Paul) not forgetting the handsome Cockerel and his brood of hens who all made us feel very welcome. Thank you.

Right by the agen peage between Toulouse and Bordeaux, we used this as a Travelodge. French is helpful - we checked after midnight, had a few hours rest and a shower and left at 4.39 am to make an early flight. This is not a holiday hotel for relaxing. It is a comfy bed, good a/c, good parking, convenient for our needs.
It was a place with a special charm. Great location in the middle of green meadows, not far from the sea and San Sebastian. The view from the balcony was great! Special thanks to the neighbor's sheep and very cute family dog! The room was spacious, tasteful and very comfortable. There was everything needed in the room. The bathroom was especially beautiful, with a view. The hosts were very friendly and took care of the guests in every way. The breakfast was tasty and varied. It was definitely one of the nicest lodges we have stayed at.
We stayed in the 2person cabin, shared a bathroom with 2 doormat and this worked perfectly. In general, we loved the vibe with the other people there, the shared kitchen and how easy it was to rent boards or take a surfing class in the lodge. The beach at Capbreton is very nice and clean as well, with great waves and sunsets!

Perfect location to explore the area. Lodgings were very comfortable and we ended up spending more time at the property than we planned for during our stay given how relaxing it was. Thanks to Annie and Sylvain who were great hosts - truly felt like a home away from home.
The girls on reception were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The woods around the lodges were vast and great for the dogs to stretch their legs after a long drive. The lodges had everything we needed. It's a very nice layout and being a few yards for a lovely bistro was perfect. The location minutes from the motorway was also ideal.
Well equipped lodges fantastic location very good access to the lakes walks and local restaurants. Great swimming pool area for all the family including a large heated pool. Staff very helpful and welcoming.
