Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance.

Each of the unique cabins at Cradle Mountain Highlanders has cosy interiors, including a fireplace. All cabins are lined with beautiful Tasmanian timber and most cabins have full kitchen facilities. Some units have a luxurious spa bath and mountain views. It is quiet, the cabins are well spread out, and it’s located so closed to the visitor centre. The cabin we stayed in is spacious, clean and has everything we need to keep us warm and snug. tThe kitchen is very well equipped so we could cook our meals. Dianne was very welcoming and the gentleman staff was very nice to teach us how to lit the wood fire.

Located in Maydena, Maydena Mountain Cabins offers accommodation with a balcony or a patio, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as barbecue facilities.

The air-conditioned units have a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and an oven. There is also a microwave, toaster and a kettle.

The lodge offers a terrace. Wonderful place. Beautiful scenery.

Located just 50 metres from the Tasman Sea, Saltwater - Absolute Oceanfront, Hot Tubs, Sauna, Fire Pits is set in Falmouth, 7-minutes' drive from Four Mile Creek. Iron House Brewery is 10-minutes' drive away. Free private parking is available on site. Convenient location could see the beach from the villa only a short walk. Villa was exceptionally clean and spacious! Will be back again

The retreat offers a 3-bedroom lodge and a separate cottage. The lodge features a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area with an open fireplace. Relax on your private deck overlooking the bay, complete with BBQ facilities. The en suite bathroom has a free standing bathtub. The Studio was tastefully furnished, quiet and peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings. Great place to stay to explore wonderful Bruny Island. Loved watching the wallabies playing while soaking in the copper bath (through the one way window!)

Each room at Oyster Cove Chalet Tasmania features heating and air conditioning. All kitchenettes include an electric frying pan, electric steamer, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. There was everything you could possibly want for a self catering break. Feeding the pademelons in the garden was a delight for us poms. Great nights sleep - total tranquility!

Laundry facilities and a full kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator are standard in all cottages. The family who own this venue have done an excellent job, with period furniture and a genuine historic and classy vibe. Views of Hobart and Mount Wellington from the back veranda and the gardens were lovely, and the breakfast was exceptional. I arrived late and the instructions admitting me to the property were clear and well-explained.

Set on 10 acres of lovely gardens, a hot tub and free Wi-Fi. Omg the cabin was amazing!!! I just couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. We had a spa looking at the beautiful view!!

With garden views, River Run Lodge is set in Strathblane and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and barbecue.

Whispering Spirit Holiday Cottages & Mini Ponies is located in Franklin and offers valley and mountain views, as well as secluded gardens.

Hobart is 35 km from Whispering Spirit Holiday Cottages & Mini Ponies, while Margate is 23 km from the property. The nearest airport is Hobart International Airport, 49 km from the property. This is a lovely place to stay. Peaceful and relaxing. Heidi and her husband are lovely and very accommodating. The animals were great to interact with (the goats are super friendly). The produce and little farm store were also a delight.
