Southern Grampians Cottages

Dunkeld

Located at the southern end of the iconic Grampians National Park, Southern Grampians Cottages are surrounded by beautiful gardens offering mountain views. Each cottage features a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi. Our stay SGC far exceeded our expectations. We received a message from the hosts before our stay letting us know of local recommendations such as restaurants and things to do. We are unable to arrive until after 9pm, a key a left for us and the fire was lit so that the cottage was toasty and warm on arrival - it was a chilly nice, so very appreciated! The location was perfect and the welcome book gave us lots of ideas for day trips around the area. There are some beautiful walks in Dunkeld! And it's close to Halls Gap which is also worth a day trip. We had a room with a spa which was fantastic. The kitchen had everything we could have needed, including glad wrap, etc. Each day our wood box was refilled, with plenty of good quality red gum to burn. There is a huge list of items available for guests to use, free of charge. Including, wifi, day packs, hiking packs, picnic baskets and rugs, games, toys, books, and so much more. The hosts even offer hiker drop off and pick up with a small extra fee if needed.
