Great and safe location as a solo traveller for a 13 night stay in Perth. Very clean with super & always accommodating staff!
Twin room with Q + S bed (level 1) - good room space/layout - accessible balcony with large sliding & screen doors to allow fresh airflow.
Easy 300m walk up to IGA supermarket (open 24/7) which had a huge variety of fresh fruit/veg & prepared food options and the usual necessities.... as well as several coffee shops, a bakery, newsagent, bottle shop & other eateries in Preston Street.
Did not have a car but was less than 350m walk to Transperth Bus stops for regular links to Perth Hockey Stadium/Curtin University for my commitments and also to South Perth shops/ferry/Zoo & to Elizabeth Quay & Perth Stations (city) for train & bus connections across Perth for sightseeing & social occasions.
FYI only - Access to level 1 rooms is by approx 15 stairs & no lift .... Did not impact me & was OK on a daily access basis however was great that staff offered to assist with my luggage on arrival & departure.

We are riding a bicycle and this property has a protected yard that we could lock the bicycle in. It was also the near the last location we could lodge before we entered the backcountry. Food was an easy walk to and the view was wonderful.
We did not stay. Have lodged a grievance with booking.com
Location. A "motor lodge" style motel - car parked in front of room.
Airport shuttle service was excellent. We flew into Perth in the evening. We needed an overnight stay before heading off to Margaret River, so Flag Motor Lodge was perfect to stay overnight. Breakfast was great value.
Restaurant at Windsor Lodge was very convenient. Also it was a very nice restaurant and served a great breakfast.
One of our favourite places to stay in the Northern suburbs. It's perfect for our needs. Peaceful and quiet, yet only minutes away from shops, restaurants, and all amenities. The lodge is well appointed with just about everything one could need whilst travelling. Thank you for a wonderful stay! See you next time
The breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean and a great size. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone staying in Perth
I like the Great Eastern Motor Lodge it is central to things they have a good breakfast and vending machines for Browns Percolated coffee chill which is a big plus. close supermarket and Tytenenergy.com for something extra, the rooms are nice and spacious with a decent kitchenette in what I had. Microwave and stove were great additions. Parking very good. Shower nice. Room smelt clean and fresh. Most of staff were very friendly and helpful and very quick to help. One lady at reception was very professional and helpful and is a credit to the Lodge.
