The location of the lodge is excellent with beautiful views. The rooms are ok, the beds could be better. After 3 nights staying there I had awful back pain and could hardly move.
This was a very nice, small inn. A bit rustic, which I enjoyed. Other than a little problem with the hot water, which was fixed promptly, and the whole town losing electricity for a couple of hours, it was a great stay. It's very dark in the desert when the lights go out! LOL Very nice people running the Lodge.
The location was amazing! Great views and Kris was amazing! Kris brought marshmallows and skewers out for my grandkids the first night we were there! The breakfast was simple but tasty and again Kris was on top of it! I highly recommend staying at the historic lookout lodge!
The weather and going into town.
There are two places in Tombstone that we stay at - The Landmark Lookout Lodge and The Tombstone Grande Hotel. We only stay at these properties. We liked the Landmark in the past. They had good breakfasts in the past. But something changed and I think it was the ownership.
Our stay at the Landmark Lookout Lodge was a great time. The room was clean, they welcomed out dogs with open arms, the hot breakfast was simple and tasty. The lodge itself has that nostalgic feel, which I loved. It was very close to the Old Boothill Cemetery, and Historic Tombstone.
The managers and the lodge were amazing. We held a memorial for my husband who passed away last year. The couple who ran the lodge were so friendly, caring and accommodating. They not only allowed us to hold it in the dining room, they made sure we had everything we needed 🤗 the home cooked breakfast was delicious.
Everything was great about it. Long Check IN time, but person ahead of me sounded like had credit card issues.
Once I was in line check-in was very prompt. Shower worked great! Coffee was awesome!
10 times better than the Lookout Lodge next door!!
