Great experience - disappointed at first thinking we were getting a cabin but we got a room in the lodge. First steps into the lodge I felt better. It was very pretty with wood paneling through out. Little updates could be made but all in all it was a great trip
the room was good sized and the bathroom had a whirlpool bathtub which was good to have after a day walking around Mackinaw island. the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very pet friendly. the location was perfect, downtown , and the ferry were all well with in walking distance of the lodge. I will admit that I was a bit apprehensive after I read some of the reviews, However but this place was a great value for the money. when we come back this will be the place we use
Peaceful and relaxing. My husband and I have stayed a couple of times at Cabins of Mackinaw and Lodge, we will definitely be visiting again.
