Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The lodge is close to off road trails and lakes. I was able to go off roading in the matter of minutes and at the end of the day take a nice shower. The kitchen had a large refrigerator and microwave so I was able to bring own my food. The room was clean and large.
The location is breathtaking. The view from the lodge is beautiful, especially from th e little tiny bathroom window.
We enjoyed the wood burning stove and was supplied with wood.
