Located in Lake Placid in the New York region, with Herb Brooks Arena and Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum nearby, The Devlin provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

The lodge offers a terrace.

Parking was easy. I was able to walk to many restaurants and popular spots (mirror lake, Olympic center and museum) without having to worry about driving! The room was huge and offered streaming on Hulu. The hotel even offered breakfast in the morning!

A gorgeous, huge log hunting lodge with very large, well appointed rooms that are comfortable, rustic yet luxurious. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to see their guests and make their visit as comfortable as possible. The whole staff is phenomenal. The food is excellent, and we loved the daily hot chocolate and snores, as well as the chocolate chip cookies left in our room by housekeeping.

I really enjoyed the lodge space. I'm an early riser and my wife isn't so having a place to be in the early morning was a good thing for a motel style space. Fast wifi and super comfortable beds. Check in was easy for me, but may not be easy for everyone.

I was very surprised that this is a chain hotel - it feels like a well cared for boutique lodge. The staff was very friendly and personable, the hotel was very clean and the little perks like snacks of popcorn in the lobby, 24 hour hot beverage bar, and games/puzzles for the guests to enjoy made it feel like home. The morning breakfast was good as well, a wide selection to choose from with some variation day to day. The hotel was also had a great location by the lake with easy walking to everything in Lake Placid.

Everything we needed to enjoy lake placid! Conveniently located a pleasant walk to both the nature trails and the downtown, Wildwood is a lake front property with an unbeatable value. We've stayed at the 5 star lake placid Lodge and another chain in town. Wildwood exceeded our expectations.

Decent breakfast, better than most discount to mid price lodging locations though this property isn't discount. Nice new modern/trendy ammenities for the most part. Though some oddities with how elctrical switches applied and only 1 USB charge port could be found, and that was on the alarm clock. Alarm clock is not settable by user and was 57 minutes ahead.

It is a cute lodge kind of hotel located on the lake. They have boats on their site that we could use whenever we wanted to. It is located at walking distances from the market. The market has small stores, restaurants, a movie theater and coffee shops by the lake. So all in all, we had a nice getaway at this place.
