A well-located lodge with beautiful grounds and facilities. This place is about 15 minutes by moto from the chimpanzee starting point and about 5 from the Bigode Swamp office. The reception and dining area were really lovely to have coffee and meals at. This place excels at all the little touches that make a stay excellent, from the attentiveness of the staff to the tray of tea/coffee left outside my door during my wake-up call. There is also a short trail going around the grounds, about 20 minutes walk, where you can see black faced vervet monkeys, mangabeys, red monkies, red tail monkies, and white-nosed monkies. The meals were elevated compared to other lodges of this price point and were really delicious!! The room itself was also lovely and looked recently renovated, especially the bathroom.

Beautiful lodge in the forest, surrounded by jungle and flowers. The tents were luxurious although they are possibly open to mice getting in (in our case… but it happens in the forest!) everything was wonderful, including the food and service!
