Lovely place with lovely staff. Great rooms, very comfortable. Super-quiet location. We slept really well. The restaurant serves beautifully presented and tasty food. We messed up our booking and caused them considerable inconvenience which they were ever so nice about. That tells you a lot about a place!

Our stay at Abel Tasman Lodge was nothing short of magical. Scott, the owner, was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering valuable advice on adjusting our hiking route due to rainy weather. The lodge itself is cozy and comfortable, nestled in the stunning surroundings of Abel Tasman National Park. We were touched by Scott's hospitality and the beautiful gift he gave us as we departed. Our experience was truly unforgettable, and we can't wait to return to this hidden gem.

Great location, Scott was super friendly and very attentive. The place was very clean and nice to have outdoor private space. The location of the hot tub was also a bonus, with Mountain View’s in the background. The lodge is within walking distance of the facilities in marahau so a nice break from driving. The lodge can also provide a packed lunch and breakfast if needed which was helpful for hiking days.

Lovely spacious and clean apartment in a peaceful location. Modern and a kitchen good enough to cook a few dinners although there are good restaurants close by. Great hosts and a range of facilities on site. Abel Tasman is stunning and a ‘must visit’. Use the water taxis to explore the amazing coastline. The Lodge and the National Park are a fabulous combination.

The owners were very kind people who operate this small (8 rooms I believe) lodge from their little slice of paradise! Who couldn't love falling asleep with the sound of crickets or having a little Weka visitor while reading in the hammocks? There is a communal kitchen which is well-equipped.

The perfect Lodge for couples or families. It is very close to the Abel Tasman Park and from there everything is in walking distance (small convenience store, two restaurants, beach). The Check-In and Check-Out was very fast and easy and the owner are sooo nice!! They have everything ready to explain to visitors where they can go and see much within the surroundings. Laundry room and kitchen is possible to use and they even have a whirl pool which can be used :-) All in all we would recommend it staying at this Lodge!

The room was spacious, well appointed & very comfortable. The view out of our window was very pleasant, looking out at the garden & the local birdlife. The lodge information notes were written with a great sense of humour, which reflected the friendly atmosphere of the whole establishment.

We had a very pleasant stay during Christmas. The access to the Abel Tasman Coasttrack is just around the corner 5 minutes by car. In the Lodges you have everything you need from a kitchen to a washing machine. If there are no clouds you can stargize during the nights. The location is very quiet and the hosts are very friendly and thoughfull.
