We returned to Lake Lodge for our last night in Sri Lanka and it felt like coming home. We were welcomed back by the manager and another member of the team sought us out to ask how we'd enjoyed our trip. It's worth mentioning that, more than once on our tour, we came across other visitors who knew and were equally impressed with Lake Lodge. We also met Colombo locals who regularly come to eat in the restaurant.

The location was good as it is walking distance, about 150 meters, to beach and keels store. We were three people, the room was big. Also we enjoyed our meals at across the road restaurant " Saraswathie lodge" which serves delicious genuine south Indian food. One of the managers, in short notice, got our bags of souveniers to the airport which we forgot at the reception. Thanks again.
