There is a nice family restaurant associated with the B&B. This is where breakfast is served and lodgers also get a discount on other meals. The staff are friendly and the location is excellent for visiting the historic centre.
The property owner was there to meet us when we arrived; very kind and helpful. The apartment is nice and very clean. It is set in the central area of Siracusa, less than 20 seconds walk from one of the charming narrow streets of the ancient city. Shops, restaurants, bars, and museums are all over the place, The apartment is also a few minutes walk from the promenade which is down the road from the apartment. All considered the lodging is perfect for a family stay in one of Sicily's beautiful cities.
The lodging was amazinly well located. It was clean and the staff was super responsive. The room was really big with two balconies which was great.
Funny annecdote, it seems like the faucets for the bidet and the sink were interchanged which gave us a really good laugh. No impact on the use of the sink. Thank you :P
The city decided to take care of the feral cats. So there were a lot of well behaved and healty cats outside which is was great.
