Ramesh, the caretaker of the lodge is such a warm person and does everything in his capacity to make the guests feel at home. The breakfast is great as well, especially the tea. The location of the lodge is good for the travellers who want to stay close to Brahmputra River and in natural surroundings rather than urban noisy neighborhoods. I stayed in Bamboo cottage and slept really well both nights and woke up to the pleasant sounds of the birds.

Excellent hotel both for comfort and for attending a congress. Very, very convenient to the airport. Highly secure. Expensive compared to local lodging, Inexpensive by international standards. Rooms are large, comfortable, clean. Water supply for showers is excellent. Front desk generally very helpful with assistance. Good buffet breakfasts and dinners. Plenty of service in the dining area. Nice selection of Indian/local along with more continental foods.

Clean rooms. Could get food, dominos, Vishal just a minute away. Not far from the main street yet the lodge is away from noise. Price is affordable. The host is friendly and takes good care of us. Family of 6 could stay together with 2 toilets (Indian & European). Geyser is available too. I higly recommend it.

The perfect place to stay in the heart of Guwahati. The accomodation is situated in a great area of the city, close to the train station and just a short walk to a range of fantastic places to eat and many different shops and cafes. The staff at Namaskar lodge were welcoming, friendly and always happy to help during my time with them. The room was very clean on arrival, and it was frequently cleaned on a daily basis.
