Staff was super nice and helped us in all we needed. Lodge is very close to Tangkoko NP entrance. Dinner was tasty and very cheap. Guide in Tangkoko NP (his name was Joaquin) is very skilled.

This is only lodge in area with an open-air dining area with spectacular views of both the volcano and the ocean. Also. a big bonus is a series of fruiting trees just below dining area that draws lots of lovely birds, as well as nests. The food was individually prepared and was sensationally good for all meals over 3 days. I could pay the expensive return taxi by credit card to lodge--rather than the usual, only cash. Plus the lodge helped set up each day's birding journeys.

We spent four nights in this great lodge. It is perfectly situated if you want to visit Tangkoko National park, which we did. The place is clean and the food is quite nice. The tenants are very welcoming and always keen to help. They also know a lot about the wildlife around the lodge so don’t hesitate to ask.
