    we stayed in the Riverview suite which was superb. The lodge was extremely comfortable , tastefully decorated with a lovely large veranda. The grounds were lovely and everything was very well kept.

    Despite being a little up the hill from the lake and in jungle this lodge was spotlessly clean. The construction of everything was beautiful and obviously done with a lot of care and skill. We spoke for a long time with the caretaker Santos, and he was one of the most friendly and helpful people we have met in Guatemala. This lodge is quiet and great for a nature experience. We felt lucky to have stayed here. We did the nature walk at the Biotopo next door and saw both Howler and Spider monkeys.
