Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
I have stayed here twice now whilst needing to be in central London for work. At the price point (£145 per night) it's the best I've found. Comfy bed, good air conditioning, window that opens, TV that actually works and let's you log in to Netflix/iPlayer, surprisingly quiet road.
When travelling for work, priority one is just a solid nights sleep and this has been better than the travel lodges / premier inns I've tried.
Really comfy for one night between days in office.
Pleasant and easy check in. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need. Feels a bit more luxury than premiere inns or travel lodges. Good value for money. Will be back.
I usually stay at Travelodges but decided to try this and was very pleasantly surprised. Accommodations are spread out over 2 lovely buildings on either side of a private square where people were playing tennis most of the time 🙂 Room was spacious and comfy and I had a lovely view of the park. My friend was staying in the other building and had a lovely view of the internal courtyard. Will definitely be back.
Room was spotless, honestly cleaner than Premier Inns and Travelodges I've stayed at. The room was warm and the hairdryer was good. The woman that checked me in was very friendly. Shower was good.
The price I paid included a continental breakfast and was very reasonable considering it being quite close to the theatre district. Even Travelodges near it were charging considerably more than the £60-odd that I paid.
Rooms was modern and just perfect had everything I needed better than travelodges I have stayed in London
Lovely lighting the building is very pretty
Breakfast was spot on so hot! And enough to choose from !
As someone whose seen too many travelodges, Clarendon was refreshing. Cosy, classy , you get an actual key for the room(not a fob). Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner was superb. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Location is great too.
The staff and service were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.
Location is excellent right between Holborn and Russell Square tube station.
Lovely bar and restaurant in the hotel itself and pop up ski lodge!
