Situated in Coleford in the Gloucestershire region and Kingsholm Stadium reachable within 30 km, The Lodge Rooms features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private parking.

My partner and I absolutely loved the room - we stayed in the 'Coal Cellar', which has a ground level room, but a below-ground bathroom. The whole place has an eco vibe with a luxury feel; lots of greenery and bare wood, subtle lighting, and it is set in stunning woodland. We received a really warm welcome from Jon, and immediately made ourselves a cuppa from the hospitality tray. The room was nice and quiet, the bed linen was of really good quality, and the bathroom was like entering a steampunk forest grotto (with the benefit of underfloor heating). The online photos are a really good representation of this lovely hideaway. There is free onsite parking right outside the accommodation.

The view was incredible. The lodge had everything you could want and Sally had thought of all the little points like a box of tissues, loads of things in the bathroom you might have forgotten. Binoculars to see birds in the many trees. Even a dishwasher with the tablets. You name it we had it. Absolutely fab.

Location was great for exploring the Forest of Dean Area. Very quiet and peaceful. Property was spacious and very well equipped, plenty of fresh towels, kitchen essentials etc. Plenty of storage space and drawers. Lots of plug points in handy places. The lodge had a smart tv with Netflix and WiFi was excellent throughout. The lodge was warm and comfortable.

Liberty Lodge is a really lovely spacious holiday home. The owner put everything you would need into the lodge, even salt and pepper. We will return again.

Nothing, staff rood .room appalling. 1st receptionist horrible but next receptionist gave us a better room and was lovely. Area not what advertised. Restaurant is a bowls club . Gardens not as advertised. Worst hotel I ever stayed in , a travel lodge would of been better than that dump. No where else to go except bowls club and watch football. Not even a 1star hotel in our opinion. Surprised booking.com even sell there rooms

The location is perfect for great 🐕 walks. A lovely walk 2 minutes from the lodge. It is quieter than other lodges as only 3 are rented out. That's what I REALLY liked about it and the owners of the lodges were soooo welcoming 😊. I will definitely go back. Excellent condition lodge which was very clean and plenty of bedding etc. Also less than 10 minute walk to 2 great eateries. The Miners Sling and Orepool Inn ❣️
