Looking for a lodge?

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

As always, a very pleasant stay at the ML Lodge. Warm, clean and comfortable room. Not as bright and shiny as some, but excellently resourced, with well above what you'd get from the budget chains. And the property is excellently situated for the center of town. Guys downstairs when I collected the keys were very friendly. All good, and I have no hesitation in using again in the future.

The spaciousness of the room and the location also got discount in the kebab below the lodge and a discount on the car park

I might as well stay in travel lodge or holiday inn, pay all that money for a basic hotel, the breakfast was completely rubbish too.

I come to work in Cardiff and have to pay for my accommodation. I like ML Lodge because it's cheap. The room is large, the bed comfortable, it has an ensuite and the wifi works. The room has a kettle,TV and a nice chair and desk. Definitely the best budget hotel

The venue was perfect for post covid recovery as the lodges have privacy, and a unique view in the trees that you can sit and immerse yourself in. Deeply therapeutic and a huge blessing that I could bring my miniature dachshund who loved the flat location and sitting on the outside balcony with me too. Easy gentle walks on the grounds too.

Picked this hotel due to its location for Motorpoint Arena. Friendly staff on arrival. Paid £10 for early check-in. Really clean and fresh room felt newly decorated. Bathroom was imaculate and very clean. Very pleasant stay and very good value £37 loved the way the room was set up using minimal amount of space. Beats Cardiff's Travelodges for cleanliness and comfort.

I loved that they gave you a whole jar of Tea bags ,it was cheaper than a travelodge or premier Inn and a lot better . The beds were extremely comfortable. It was spotless and the temperature was perfect . Usually I find Travelodges too hot . Good parking
