Great staff who helps you book excursions. I would highly recommended to do the sloth tour with Armando. He is very passionate about animals so you will learn a lot from him. Further, the rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast view is amazing, so come early to have the best spot.

Karen was exceptional and super helpful with getting Transportation arranged to other locations and to activities in the area. She was able to comprehend my bad Spanish. Quiet , peaceful, super friendly staff. Very comfortable beds , great breakfast and they accommodated my need for GF as I am Coeliac. The grounds were absolutely stunning and the rooms were huge. Amazing wildlife, we saw toucans , iguanas and heard the howler monkeys.

Eduardo and Cires (the owners) were absolutely amazing. They were super nice, helped us with advice for our stay whenever we needed it and just overall made the stay a great experience. The included breakfast (made by them) also super tasty and they served a generous portion. Also it's possible to get your clothes washed (they even folded it) and they provide towels. Great value overall. The chalet is simple but very nice, you go to sleep and wake up with the sounds of nature. The free frog tour in the propriety is a nice extra touch, you can see how much they care about they're land and love nature. It is more than just a frog tour, it's an experience to learn about a different way to look at the world (at least it was for us).

We loved everything! From the hosts being so kind, welcoming and helpful, to the delicious breakfast and dinner Noe made! We saw so many birds and wild life and Jay was so knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the importance of all of them. We also received great recommendations for where to go to best see the Arenal volcano as well as get great food! You can tell the hosts are both so passionate about their place and the work they do, it was not just a place to stay on our trip, it was a wonderful experience that contributed to our overall time in Costa Rica and we look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!!
