Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. The property is an eco-friendly hostel that offers private rustic rooms with balcony and bathroom.

Amazing place close to Tayrona NP. The photos on booking looked to good to be true, but they are 100% accurate. The style of the buildings merges nicely into the jungle, their ecological approach is transparent and visible. The beds are extremely comfortable and offer mosquito nets (in addition to all windows and doors being equipped with them as well). The restaurant offers fresh, regional and very tasty dishes for a reasonable price (and good variety) which is important as there is little else around. The pool and facilities are well-kept and inviting. And they even have a little zoo (a cat and a parrot freely strolling the yard, turtles and fishes). And the staff is very friendly, service-oriented and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasurable (special shout-out and thanks to Santiago). A small paradise in the jungle, we regretted not being able to stay longer.

I stayed at Hierbabuena after three days in Tayrona park. It was the perfect place to relax and recover after the trekking days. The cabin is not only beautiful but also very comfortable and clean. Piedad, the owner, really takes care of every guest and prepares delicious meals. The atmosphere is calm and the garden and pool perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend.

Posadas Ecoturisticas Seineken is located in the countryside outside of Santa Marta. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens.

The bungalows at this property boast rustic wooden décor, and feature a garden view. Posadas Ecoturisticas Seineken extras include an en suite.

Beautiful property with lots of greenery and some cute pets. We had a lovely cabin with a very comfortable bed. We only stayed for a night but we would have loved to stay longer. The couple running the hostel were very sweet and were willing to hold our luggage while we visited Parque Tayrona for a small fee. There are a few stores and restaurants near the property to load up on food for park visitors. We also enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the hostel.

Providing sea views, Taorayiná nature lodge- immersed in the forest in El Zaino provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Free WiFi is provided.

Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino is 50 km from the lodge. The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International Airport, 45 km from Taorayiná nature lodge- immersed in the forest.

This is a very unique experience that you do not easily get else where! From the bottom of the mountain going up and until you get down again after your stay, you are fully covered into jungle, tranquillity and no-tourism. Out of the real world and back to nature. The way up is challenging, so do not expect a real road and you have to be in a good shape! It is done by bike dudes that bring you to a certain point up and you finish your way up by yourself. The stay is not a normal stay since the hosts Juan Pablo and Marcel take care of you as a family. They cook breakfast, lunch and dinner (for extra cost) for all the guests with the organic food from the jungle and everyone is relaxing, making music, chatting and eating together. But no worries if you need some privacy, the houses are very nice, build as it used to be in a jungle and the dome is a very unique experience in the forest. You can do some hikes in the surrounding area at the waterfall where you are the only one. The stay is sustainable, organic and self-sufficient, so you drink and shower with the mountain water and the toilet feces are used for the surrounding area to grow plants. If you have a weak stomach, I recommend to bring a big bottle of drinking water.

The lodge is magical. It has amazing views, feels like a luxury resort. There are local restaurants to walk to or the restaurant at the lodge was really good. Their Pina coladas were delicious and the pool was a nice treat after a long day of hiking. The staff at the lodge are exceptional. Very helpful and professional.

There isn’t much to like about this place apart from the birds in the trees. It is a very basic lodge with no amenities and unfriendly, unhelpful staff.

We loved our stay at Tayrona Angel Lodge! The room was spacious and so nice to have air con. The pool was great too. Staff were great, they allowed us to change our dates which was helpful. They also do a great breakfast. The location couldn’t be better either 5 minute walk to the entrance of the park. They also store your bags here when you go to the park.

The hotel is beautifully located across Tayrona national park. The Nice eco lodges are clean, modern and are really comfortable (incl. Airconditioning!). We enjoyed our time at the swimming pool, playing a game of pool, but most of the time simply enjoying a cold beer with the splendid views from the restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. Would definitely book again!

A true ecolodge. Only accessible by foot and therefore in the middle of nothing else than beauty. So different than all the other 100 ‘ecolodges’ that are close to the road or at the super busy hiking routes in the park. Waking up with the sound of monkeys and an incredible view from your bed. Beautiful hikes to make in the surrounding or take a rest in the many hang mock’s to choose. The hosts are wonderful and cook you a dinner, make you a coffee, show you around in the jungle or play a tune at the marimba.
