The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We had spent a full day at L'Anse aux Meadows and Norstead, and the Viking Motor Lodge was fairly close to both and on our way out the next morning. The view of the bay was nice, and if the rain had subsided in time, we would've enjoyed the Adirondack chairs and fire pit.

We were switched from the Viking Lodge to the Burnt Cape Cabins. And then we were given the stand alone 3 bedroom, fully equipped home just across the street from the shore front.
