Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Cariboo Lodge is a favorite stop on our travels. We have stayed here many times and will again in the future. Pleasant staff, restaurant has a super menu and was very willing to accomodate our request. Food was great as was the wine! We will be back!! Very comfotable and clean. Only one small problem was the ice machine was locked up tight. No access. Oh well, the staff at the bar was helpful and filled the bucket.

I used Cariboo lodge as a stop between Whistler and Blue River. It was ideal for that. The on-site restaurant was nice with pleasant staff. Not their fault, but there was a leak from upstairs through the ceiling during the night into the bathroom. Everything else was fine. Free parking is outside the door.

I have stayed at the Cariboo Lodge before, so I knew what to expect. It is well located to break-up a long driving trip.

We have stayed here at different times when passing through the Cariboo. It's always been very pleasant. This time we had visitors from Europe with us and they very much enjoyed the Cariboo Lodge. They especially liked the atmosphere in the pub and the large, clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were all very friendly and obliging.
