Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Simple beautiful lodgings. Wonderful garden setting. The host was available but unassuming and provided wonderful care and service. A very relaxing venue and location.
Location is nice otherwise staff - very very rude, arrogant, lodged already complain with you. Accommodation is average as not whatever mentioned.
Wifi not at all working.
We were four couples. The lodge was perfect as a base to explore the town and region and to relax and dine in the expansive open areas. As good as it gets with thanks to James for assistance and recommendations on vineyards.
Genevieve's property is an absolute delight. Even on a misty, cold weekend in the winter, her garden is a wonderland. The Lodge is well appointed, with lovely touches such as alpaca wool throws and plenty of dry split wood to keep the fire raging.
