We stayed in room 4 which is large, very comfortable, and private. The balcony was perfect for sundowners and a braai and the view across the valley is beautiful. The steam shower in the bathroom is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Owners were very warm and welcoming. Rooms were clean, spacious and well decorated. Bar fridge was well stocked. Coffee machine and hairdryer were good. Bed was comfortable. Lovely views of the mountains all around the property. There were a number of very pleasant spaces to relax in. We used the pool table in the evening. Jacuzzi area in the spa was great to soak away the tensions of the day. Montagu Hot Water Springs are just across the road if one wants to have a therapeutic dip. There is enough space for onsite parking. Great restaurants 5 minutes away. The breakfast at Pjure was absolutely wonderful with fresh bread, fruit, eggs, bacon, home made yoghurt and more ! A wonderful scent as you arrive prepares your senses for a lovely experience and the botanical shower gel reinforced feeling pampered. All in all, a lot of effort has gone into creating a good space for guests to recharge in.

Everything! The Host is amazing and so friendly! The house is clean and has everything you would need for a week away. montagu and avalon springs are around the corner and wine tasting in Robertson is a treat :)

Avalon Springs charged R156 per person as day visitors.)
The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds were comfortable.
Montagu Little Sanctuary is a beautiful gem in the little hot springs valley north of Montagu. Darlene is to be congratulated for offering an oasis of calm for a relaxing holiday with stunning gardens and pools. The room facilities are great for self-catering and the patio is a delight for bird watchers. You can also enjoy reduced price access to Avalon Springs next door.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Abundant Grace to unwind and relax after a long roller-coaster year. The accommodation was very nice, and the best part of our visit was the walking distance from our actual holiday destination Avalon Springs. The hosts Siva and Sharlene Pillay were wonderful in terms of top-notch hospitality, as well as the information shared about Avalon Springs Resorts in Montagu, best price and the surrounding area was extremely interesting.
We book quite regularly at the resort. However, we do prefer to stay at Avalon Springs (Hotel). Everything is just awesome. Also, the way access to the hot pools was controlled by security, for those who were not residents at Avalon Springs - that was admirable. Avalon Springs really go the extra mile for their guest and it is appreciated. Definitely going to be booking soon again. See you soon!!
Everything was awesome about Avalon Springs. The only complaint is that we were a bit disappointed that the slides were out of order and we weren't informed about it. But other than that everything was perfect.
