As a cultural tourist, this was the perfect polished boutique hotel, and a haven against some of the seedier aspects of Old Town. Walking distance from some great bars and live music in Old Town. Note that, my version of a good bar is a classic dive bar where you order over sized rye shots and sing karaoke (shout out to Yamhill Pub). Definitely use scooters around Portland.
