Love love love this area.
Love love love this area. Filled with tourists but it's so much livelier than the rest of the surrounding areas. There was always something interesting going on. If you like to people watch, this area is great! It's large so you can really plan a whole day around this area and hit all of the monuments. Have a picnic on the grass, look at the ducks and admire the duck ramps, go in and out of the surrounding museums, walk around sculpture gardens, etc. Would definitely go back! Also definitely go during the daytime but also during the night time. It's so pretty lit up.

People are talking about The National Mall! Explore guest hotel reviews featuring "The National Mall"
The entire staff was very professional and friendly and I loved the decor in the hotel. In addition, the location was perfect for tourists- 10 minute walk to the White House and 15-20 minute walk to the National Mall.
The extra perk of free transportation to and from the National Mall (the Southwest Shuttle) that the hotel informed us about was an unexpected wonderful surprise!
The breakfast buffet was amazing! The staff were kind and knowledgeable. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the National Mall to view the fireworks on July 4th!
I stayed in room 501. The circular room was delightful and amazingly quiet for a room overlooking a busy intersection. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel location was perfect; close to metro stop and walking distance to the National Mall.
The neighborhood it was in was pretty solid. Of course DC parking sucks but there is a lot available next to the hotel. There's a grocery store right behind that had everything you needed. About a 30 min walk to the National mall or a 10-15 min bike ride. All in all it was nice hotel in a good area at a very good price point.
The location of this hotel is great! I walked to the National Mall and could get to most places downtown with relative ease. The staff were also really nice.
Room and hotel was very clean and staff were all helpful and friendly. The location was good and close to the national mall. Although the room wasn't very big, having two king beds was great for 4 people. A/C was nice and cool which was great when it was over 90 degrees out and we could come back to the hotel to rest and cool off after a busy day.
Location was great. Very secure building, as one code needed to access building/elevators, with another for the room. Only a short walk down to the National Mall / Capital Hill. Apartment was great with full kitchen and quiet neighbours.
Nice very modern hotel in good location close to the National mall, museums and other main sightseeings. Small but efficient rooms. Quite hightech with an Ipad (in every room) for controlling the room facilities. There are also normal controls for lights etc. Nice staff, good breakfast.
Room was very close to the elevators. Breakfast tasted great with wide variety of choices. Hotel proximity to the National mall made visiting the museums very convenient even by walking.
