Staff were wonderful! From front desk to the hotel bar to housekeeping everybody was extremely accommodating! I was nervous about all the reviews but hotel was clean, location fabulous and my family and I had a wonderful time! I would come back again in a heartbeat!

We had our 5 month old puppy with us. By the second day she was terribly sick. Found an emergency vet and it turns out she got into marijuana somewhere along the boardwalk. She is making a full recovery thankfully. The vet said they see at least one pet a day for marijuana ingestion. It is now legal in VA so please watch your pets. It only takes a tiny bit dropped.

Virginia Beach boardwalk was awesome, a variety of vendors, sporting events and a complete positive vibes. One of the issues I had about the beach, was the parking situation. Some places were charging as much as $50 to park. Another issue was all of the parking garages spaces were full, I had to park six blocks away and walk to the beach. Other than that I had an awesome experience.

If you enjoy Sand Free steps to beach access and sandy places to wash off your feet at 6am on a Sunday morning your in luck. The only reason I came to town was for the free fishing weekend and the 6am leaf blower blowing sand off the steps to the beach on a Sunday Morning ruined my whole trip. I came in off the fishing pier at Ocean View at 1am and got back to my room and feel asleep by 2am. Then 6am I'm awoken by a leaf blower outside my Ocean view room. I was so angry and frustrated I couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and drove 3 and 1/2 hours home. Plenty of other fishing spots and VA beach ain't going to be one of them.

We stayed at the Sea Hawk Motel and it was beachside and very close to everything! We ended up walking everywhere we went which was very convenient! My kids loved the indoor pool and of course my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub while they swam! The monuments/statues/structures of different things were absolutely amazing to see and my kids even loved looking at them and learning. One thing my kids were a little disappointed in was that there is no sea shells on the beach. But we definitely will be back!!

Please visit Virginia Beach but make sure you reserve well known hotels like Marriott, Holiday In, Courtyard etc. so you can stay at a decent hotel. Stay away from a resort call SUN and SAND RESORT.
The local restaurants are 10/10. We loved all the foods we had.

For me, as a teacher with an April break, living in Maine, it was an easy day drive. I did not want to go all the way to Florida, as my family of 5 had done for many years. I hopped in my car at 3a.m. in Maine, and was at Virginia Beach by 530p.m. My son and I stayed the whole week. We discovered Virginia Beach the year before, returned this past April break, and will continue to do so. It is beautiful. We stayed on the quieter side, and that was perfect for us. We went exploring this trip. We went to the state park and hiked around, I discovered Virginia Beach Winery storefront, and just finished my last bottle of wine from there, wishing I had bought more, as it was delicious. We also discovered some wonderful local eateries recommended by locals. Its a wonderful recharge in April! Oh, also The Norfolk Botanical Gardens was a beautiful place! Can't wait to go back and see the new additions next year!
Dog friendly hotel so be aware. Next door neighbor’s dog was scratching and barking at the door when they were away. Stench of dog
waste permeated the halls one day. It was being cleaned but needed deodorized. Pool is small, old, limited seating. Several lights in the room didn’t work. Balcony had 1 chair and a/c unit leaking all over it the whole time. This hotel is not on the boardwalk. You have to walk about a mile to get to the boardwalk.
The hotel was located right on the beach. Our room had a beautiful view of Virginia Beach and we could see the sunrise and set every day. The room was spacious enough to fit 4 people without feeling over crowded (We stayed in the double suite). Breakfast was delicious! Every day they served different hot items in addition to bagels, toast, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, muffins, fruit, cereal, etc. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.
The location of the hotel was in a great area did not know until we ate at California Piazza Kitchen
that we there was so many other places to eat. We ate at Anchor's Allie near the hotel which the
breakfast food was great. Virginia Beach was awesome and so was the food at a restaurant we
also ate at. We did the Village Inn which was right next to the hotel and also great food. I will
definitely return to Virginia Beach again!!
Staying at this Virginia Beach oceanfront hotel was a dream come true! The breathtaking views of the ocean from my room were unparalleled. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making my stay truly memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and free breakfast, exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return to this luxurious retreat by the sea!
Breakfast was great. Room was very nice and clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Right on the boardwalk. Location was great. Staff were friendly. And best was the hotel now accepts pets. This is a big plus. Great view of the ocean. And they also give have shampoo body wash hand soap and lotion available in the room itself. The towels also were very nice and soft.

It has always been clean. The staff has always been friendly. It is budget friendly, on the boardwalk and has a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi. It is a great place to relax and shed your burdens to the cold waves of the Atlantic or hot jets in the jacuzzi
The hotel was centrally located to everything you need on the boardwalk. They have a parking garage (one car per reservation) which is a plus since we parked the car and never went back for it until we left. The breakfast that the hotel provides was fantastic. The rooms were quiet and had great views of the ocean.
The hotel’s location at the end of the strip affords an openness and a view that outdoes any on the Boardwalk. We watched over 20 dolphins cavorting by the breakwater right in front of our balcony. I never felt boxed in. The pillows, bed, and hot tub were all top-notch.
I like nothing bout it y’all need to fix them room up they awfully I will never stay there again and really put pictures on the internet of what that hotel look like I could eat or sleep in there I was mad the whole night could wait til morning to leave
Facility is good but a bit dated, like most oceanfront hotels in Virginia Beach. Location is good. View is great. A variety of room types to choose from. We stayed in a queen suite which offers the sufficient space that we’re looking for.
We were lied to and told hotel was on the beach it was not. We were told parking was free and it was not. I don’t blame hotel they were fine Booking.com lied
