Very clean and spacious; the host had thought of everything in the room which was perfect. It is located in a beautiful setting. We liked the pond with fish, frogs and a cheeky crab. Shower had lovely amenities. Bedding clean and comfy. Host even prepared a homemade pudding as part of the breakfast. What a lovely lady.

amazing views, nice facilities, really responsive and helpful host. We got lots of lots of great tips from the host on good restaurants in the area, and different activities to do in the area. The house was a 20 minute walk from jiufen old street, with the possibility of taking a bus there as well. It was a quiet oasis.
The photos are not the most updated photos! the walls have been repainted and the unit is extremely clean and tidy :) The host had filled up the entire fridge with an assortment of breakfast items for our stay as well.

The environment (amidst mountain and rivers), the awesome view, the room layout, the Japanese toilet technology, the wholesome and local food and excellent service by the friendly and helpful staff.
- The location was very nice, the people who work there as well.
- Although it’s close to the main old street it was relatively quiet in the B&B.
- As they offered also a parking spot it was easy to see other things around Jiufen by car.
- For people who are used to walk a lot it’s probably also possible to walk to the Gold Museum, the Golden Waterfall and to some of the trails.
