Bodrum is especially good for chartering a boat and explore the islands close to Bodrum. It has a beautiful castle for visiting. Our hotel El Vino was outstanding. We highly recommend their restaurant on the rooftop. Many good fish restaurants, good shopping.
There is an active nightlife with great music.

We loved Bodrum. It had everything we wanted/needed. Sunshine, beaches, clear blue water, markets, history, excursions, great food and lovely people. It is a little more expensive than I thought it would be for food and drinks etc. but still had the best holiday.
Some recommendations-
Fast rent a moped for moped rental were great. Easy and no deposit required.

Very flat, lots of shops,bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Beach is not for sunbathing. Shop around as prices vary on all things. Old town and new town very different so see both and visit the castle. Taxis are reasonable if you need one.

People are very friendly and they make sure you have a great time.

Very lively city by sea with lovely private beaches and boat trips galore on offer.
Abundance of shops selling mostly designer copies but be wary: shops in Gumbet centre are cheaper whereas shops in Bodrum centre are much dearer but so is the quality of products much more improved.
Seafood is widely available here so enjoy it fresh. Restaurant called Korfez was our favourite: delicious grilled meats, salads with efficient service and reasonable prices.
the highlight of this property was the entertainment team - animasyon ekibi. Bensu, Orkan & Asli are a team that work in partnership with the hotel and organise tours and entertainment of all sorts for guests of the hotel. they are very trustworthy and made our stay in Bodrum exceptional. I would definitely visit this place again, under one condition, and that is if Bensu, Orkan and Asli are still working there. other than that the all inclusive aspect of the hotel, the pool and location were definitely great features.
What an oasis the Asmin Hotel is located within a residential area though so close to the centre of everything. Such a great property with a wonderful pool and sun lounging area. The staff were so helpful and pleasant, plus the room we were given was lovely as it was ground floor that looked straight out on to the pool. Well maintained and clean, with a modest though tasty breakfast our time here was made extremely comfortable so would definitely return and recommend this place to others visiting Bodrum.

Perfect location, very friendly staff. The breakfast was perfect from my perspective - exactly what you want from a Turkish breakfast. The rooms and in particular the terrace upstairs have wonderful views and there is easy access to local bars, restaurants etc. There are a couple of bars on the beach just metres up the road. Bodrum in January is a nice place to be -not too crowded but there is still quite a lot of nightlife and many restaurants/bars are open.
Excellent location with an exquisite view! Spacious sitting area, plus an outdoor terrace, overlooking the beautiful bay with a multitude of yachts at anchor. Large beautiful tiled bathroom with a rain shower. Wet bar. Below is a complete restaurant with a bar serving craft cocktails and local dishes on their lovely shaded terrace or to the lounge chairs on the beach. This is THE place to stay in Bodrum!
The room is like 5* hotel on Maldives. Coz only on Maldives I saw the best 5* rooms. That have EVERYTHING! The kitchen so good equipment. They even gave us new good quality plates for dog, and in room had some pencils and notebooks that can draw for kids. Perfect clean everything. Staff had so good energy , so kind and always smile. The furniture are new and good quality! Thank u guys! ❤️
Amazing , staff were lovely , treated myself and my partner like a king and queen . I travel extensively use lots of hotels the food at the Marmara was amongst the best Ive even had . Compliments to the hotel staff and owner’s . I have to Travel to Turkey again in two weeks there is only one hotel I am booking

We loved the position of the hotel with easy access to parking, restaurants and Bodrum centre. The room was very comfortable and clean too. We enjoyed eating in the Big Chefs restaurant and used it several times just to enjoy a gin and tonic in the February sunshine. The staff were all very professional, friendly and extremely helpful too.
Everything was great from the moment we arrived, and continued throughout the stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Deniz and his staff. The hotel is a relaxing retreat, ten minutes walk from the centre of Bodrum where you'll find all the action. Dinner at the hotel's El Vino restaurant overlooking the city is a must on at least one night.
I would like to thank Yamaç and Mansur for their warm welcome at the hotel entrance. When I entered my room, it was clean, but I had difficulty operating the TV and air conditioning. There were occasional power cuts. The food was good. The view from my balcony overlooking the hotel was very nice.
The hotel was top notch...with a beautiful view. The rooms were spacious,clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a large variety. The pool area was very relaxing The shuttle to the sister hotel on the beach was a bonus. We highly recommend this hotel.
We loved this hotel and the staff. We were welcomed with smiles and helpful staff to carry our overpacked suitcases up the stairs. The terrace restaurant provided beautiful views and great food. Wonderful at accommodating gluten-free meals and drinks.
