Galata Tower
Medieval Galata Tower pierces the clouds above Istanbul’s skyline, a soaring sentinel to the north of the Golden Horn. A replacement for a previous tower that was destroyed in the crusades, this one was built by the Genoese in 1348. or hundreds of years, it was the tallest building in Istanbul – and its uppermost balcony still offers unrivalled city views today.

The place has amazing vibes with the cafes surrounding the tower and the cobbled streets and all but the crowd is just crazy. Everyone wants a pic there for whatever reason and they are a painful hindrance to enjoying the place

It's good that they have installed a set of lifts to get to the top of the tower. So you are not walking up too many steps. Best to get there early or towards sunset to see spectacular views with the mosques and the sea across Istanbul.

Definitely a must.
Definitely a must. Go in the early evening as the night lights are awesome. Museum Pass is a must - this is one of the places you can visit with it. I bought a 5 day pass for 700 TL at Topkapi Palace.

I always thought that this is only a tower, you go up, see the landscape and that is all.
I was totally wrong because there is a very nice and interactive museum inside the tower. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place, we had just a spectacular sea view, very big and comfortable bed, very clean room. Location of the hotel is perfect, very close to Galata tower, shops, restaurants. All staff are very helpful and friendly, breakfast is very nice and tasty. So highly recommended! Thank you, guys, for our perfect holidays!
Nice and clean little apartment, has all you need for comfortable stay in Istanbul. Great location , 5 min till nearest subway, 10 minutes till Galata tower, a little bit noisy during day, but so quiet at night, no problem to fell asleep, especially after all day walking. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
This hotel is close to the Galata Tower, and you can expect it to be the best location in town too. It is close to the best restaurants and also close to the supermarkets/train station in general. The room and the bathroom were clean and comfy. The staff were kind and very helpful for the days I stayed there, providing good recommendations to pass the day in Istanbul.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was nice and the bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, with Taksim Square and the Galata Tower within easy reach. Additionally, the proximity to metro and tram stops made it convenient to explore the city. There's also an airport shuttle bus stop nearby (to both airports), which was a bonus.
Beautiful charming hotel ideally located near the egyptian bazaar with a fantastic view on the New Mosque and Galata tower. Beautiful room with comfy bed. Friendly smiling staff.
Only drawback : breakfast should have more variety and be more international (with dishes for asian customers), many si
milar dishes, too much low quality cold cuts.
Great area 5 minutes from the Galata Tower spectacular room whit great view very clean and friendly it has more that I expect for value very cleans and great welcoming i will for sure come back to this Hotel thank you very much for helping me with my transfer
The hotel exceeded my expectations. Such a cute building, wonderful boutique rooms, staff incredibly attentive and breakfast top-notch (Thank you Aysude!). I loved the location, Beyoğlu is incredibly charming and you are just a few steps away from shops, restaurants and the Galata tower. On top of that I received a little thank you bag that I would have never expected. I would 100% recommend and go back when in Istanbul again.
The hotel is very near to Sishane metro station & Galata Tower!
Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ahmet at the reception for all the help and hospitality.
Thanks to Nasifa for the lovely breakfast she used to prepare!
Recommended for stay in Istanbul without a doubt!
The location of the hotel is very good - 200 meters from Galata tower and not noisy at all. Turkish coffee and tea offered at the reception. The terrace for breakfast is fabulous - great overview of the tower and the old town Istanbul.
Double deluxe rooms were small, but well furnished and from the 3rd floor with a nice view. Rooms were clean and tidy.
Day receptionist is polite and helpful.

We visited the Galata Tower at lunch time and enjoyed a great meal with a table at the window. Our soup and salad were good and the view and atmosphere were great. Much better than being crowded onto the narrow deck above.

And also good to try restaurants in Maiden or Galata Tower with perfect city view
Absolutely yes! Istanbul is open restaurant. In every corner you can find perfect meal. Good to try fish restaurant in Bosphorous, or in Çiçek Pasajı. And also good to try restaurants in Maiden or Galata Tower with perfect city view. What it can be better than that!
