The location was excellent. Parking was easy and the neighbourhood was quiet. The breakfast was delicious. We also had a really good welcome with fresh fruit and coffee.

Charming little hotel, excellent location, walking distance to the town with so many options to eat. Room is big and we love the simple but dislicious breakfast. Burga the owner is fantastic, very helpful and offer private tours.

Firstly, we were diverted, on arrival at a locked gate, to the other Livia hotel [ Livia Garden Hotel Ephesus ], and were happy to make that change.
Our welcome was excellent, with personal advice given re local sights and eateries.
We enjoyed our comfortable & spacious upstairs room for our week's stay.
The daily breakfast in al fresco poolside area was excellent & staff were very attentive & courteous.

Use a guide here. They drop you at the one point and pick you up at another point. Would have been very far to walk back. The information a guide provides is very insightful. Don't attend any carpet making stops combined with a tour of Efeses.

I’ve visited some ruins in other countries. Ephesus holds more historical significance than any other place I’ve ever been. Absolutely incredible job has been done restoring and representing history here. DONT MISS IT!

this was my goal for touring turkey and it did not disappoint!!the gates open at 8.00am,get there early as once the cruise ship and day trip from the beach (tourists not travellers )arrive the site gets more than crowded

This is a must-see. Try to go in the evening, say 5.00pm. It's geting cooler by then, and gradually there are fewer people around. Best to go in at the North gate, as then you will be walking down hill all the way :)

Very hot and very steep.
Very hot and very steep. I asked for travelling tips here and no-one had anything useful to say, so I'll give two tips! Arrive by the South entrance, walk downhill and get a taxi back to the top! Also make sure you visit the toilets (free at the north, paid at the south) as there are none inside.

It is a Family run Boutique Hotel very well maintained. All members are very courteous & ensure that you have a comfortable stay. The Breakfast service is excellent with fresh produce & good variety. The Owner and his son were very helpful and planned our Visits around and to the Ephesus Ruins.
The place is very cosy and comfortable, especially the very green and fresh garden. Bariş, the owner, was very kind and hospitable. The breakfast is super, with home made marmalades and other delicious treats.
The B&B is located at walking distance from the city centre, restaurants and a 5min drive to Ephesus ruins.

room was cosy, good air conditioning, good bed and hot showers. made for a good rest after a long day of exploring the area.

Very nice, clean, little and pintoresque hotel. The owners took us to the Ephesus ruins, and to the house of Mary, which was very convenient. St. John is just 2 blocks away. The area of restaurants are close too. I had to cancel the first night due to bad weather at the IST airport and the hotel let me do that (very appreciated, indeed!). I recommend Nilya hotel to anyone visiting Selçuk.
