Beautiful heritage building, tastefully renovated. We loved the location in one of the most beautiful streets of the medina, little coffee shops right next to it and close to the markets. The staff were very friendly and helped us arrange anything we needed from tables at bars to transport to our next destination. We were very touched when they left us their card telling us we can get in Touch if we happen to need anything throughout our travels in Tunisia. Also, we loved the olive oil soap in the bathroom.

Nice hotel in a good location. The train station Barcelone is only 100 meter walk. The Medina around 1 km . Restaurants etc is all in short walking distance. very friendly staff
The staff was so kind and helpful. The hotel is so central in Av.Bourguiba with a lot of shops arount and all the sighseeing are walkable from the hotel. Also the medinat is 10 minutes walk. The room was so clean with a balcony great wifi and the breakfast was unbelievable with a lot of pure products. One of the best we had in Tunisia
The hostel has a nice, relaxing garden, a comfortable common area to meet other travelers or get some work done and even a rooftop tarace. The rooms and common areas were very clean.

This hotel was easily the most luxurious of our month-long stay in Tunisia. Once we stepped through the large decorative door from the Medina, we felt we entered a magical world. From the stunning architecture, to peaceful courtyard garden with birds singing, the spectacular rooftop view of the Medina and Kasbah from the restaurant and outdoor seating, the Hammam / Spa, the endless beautiful art works throughout, to our enormous and beautifully appointed rooms.

Located in the medina close to the Zeituna mosque. Most of the medina is dark and dead in the evening but around the hotels a few cafes are still open and crowded. Awesome!
It was nice to have a tradionally Tunisia breakfast, but it would of been nice to have a buffet style, felt sometime the breakfast took to long to come out. The hotel was in an excellent location right in the middle of the Medina
The hotel is beautiful inside, with a very cute ye olde lift. Every wall and ceiling you could spend ages looking at. The hotel sits at the bottom of the main Avenue France on one side, and on the other the start of the busy Medina for the market. So most of what you want is nearby. The staff were good and mostly helpful. English is not a forte of most people in Tunisia. The room (a triple) was of good size, and the tiled bathroom just amazing. The breakfast as others have noted, wasn't the best, but there was easily enough to fill up on.
Hotel location excellent, walking distance to many sites in Tunis on everyone's bucket list, Medina, Mosques, Markets, cheap restuarants as well as more expensive ones, the Hotel Manager was great and arranged pick up from Airport and helped with any issues, always with a smile. Taxi's are reasonable, but use meter always. Area was safe to walkaround late at night. Tunisia generally felt safe everywhere...

Dar Ben Game Kahia is a wonderful boutique hotel in Tunis's old Medina. The place has great design, in traditional Tunisian style. There's a wonderful rooftop terrace where you can spend time. And we appreciate that the owners support local cultural and social life.
I can only recommend it. The hotel is located in the heart of Medina. This is a unique old house built in a typical Tunisian style. The greatest value of the hotel is the staff. They always helped and advised in everything. After two days, I returned to the hotel again and did not regret anything at all. Thank you very much for everything.
