A very fine castle, more like a palace. commands a great view of the city. Getting up to the castle on foot requires a bit of effort but is well worth it. I'm sure there are easier ways to get to it.

Was very pleasantly surprise, been to Bratislava 3/4 times and never managed to go inside the castle as it was always closed during the time we were there, not this time ! And actually really enjoyed it, spent about 2 hrs inside checking everything out.

Castle has been completely restored so what you see inside is not old. Most interesting things were the display of travel toilets and a merry go round, which, I didn't know before, was originally used to teach children jousting.

I didn't go into the castle itself but I did step around it and explored the grounds. I felt like I was being transported back in time. The grounds have been made to emulate what it looked like back in the day, and a job well done. I could almost feel what it could have been like. The castle itself is huge and the views are lovely.

Really nice location and easy to take bus number 61 at the airport to the Racianski Mýto bus stop. From there we walked to the apartment for aprox 10-15 min. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped and has great views to the Bratislava castle (Hrad). The air condition in the apartment is also superb.
Fantabulous apartment close to Bratislava Castle. The interior is absolutely stunning, with attention to detail in every aspect!
Honestly, the photos can't capture the real experience of this gorgeous place.
Each small element is perfectly crafted, and the kitchenette is fully equipped with nice little touches.
An additional plus is the cute balcony with a wonderful view, and the top-tier feature is a shower on the balcony.
Vlado and Domi offer perfect service, and we were delighted to have the opportunity to be here. Thank you!
we enjoyed our stay a lot. the room was clean, breakfast were unbelievably delicious. we had a beautiful view straight on Bratislava castle. everything was amazing even the location. the stuff was super nice and helpful. we would definitely recommend.
Amazing location, quiet at night, beautiful bathroom, very comfortable beds and cozy & super clean apartment overall with view of the Bratislava castle. Great price for value.
The apartment was very clean, full of interesting collectible items from the 80s. You can play records and there is a disco ball on the ceiling that actually works! The view is beautiful, you can have your morning coffee while looking at the Bratislava castle, I will surely come again
Versatile breakfast, I loved strawberries, honey and "minidonuts." Location near Bratislava Castle (which was disappointment, but anyway), short walk to streets of old town and to banks of Donau for morning run. Trams near the hotel, but no disturbing noise.
Had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was a very comfortable place with a lot of natural light and furnished nicely. It has everything you need in terms of facilities. The balcony was lovely with an amazing view of Bratislava Castle. It is really well located with plenty of sightseeing, places to eat and public transport connections not far from the door! Lastly, the host was amazing - friendly, welcoming, easy check-in and answered any questions. I highly recommend!
An excellent 2 bedroom apartment just under the walls of Bratislava castle. Walking distance to anywhere around the city. Apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Easy to communicate with the host on WhatsUp. Highly recommended. Undercover parking available.
nice hotel, we had a nice room with a nice view of Bratislava Castle, good breakfast, location about 15 minutes walk to the old town, garage must be reserved, €18 per day.

There are two main castles: Bratislava Castle which was under renovation during my visit, but it is over a hill allowing you to have a perfect view of the city and the Danube. The other is Devin Castle 10 Km North Bratislava and is accessible via bus or boat but I advise a boat to enjoy the beauty of the Danube.
